Chana masala

1 cup of Garbanzo Beans
1/2 med sized red onion, diced
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons MDH chole masala
1 medium sized tomato diced
1 teaspoon Sugar
1.5 cups water
1/2 cup Cilantro, minced

Rinse and Soak garbanzo beans overnight.

Sauté red onion in Olive Oil.  After onions turn brown, add MDH Chole Masala and fry for 15 seconds.  
Add tomato.  After tomato is cooked add sugar, soaked beans and water.  Add salt per taste as the masala has salt in it. Cook until beans are soft. 

Before serving I usually mash some of the cooked beans to get a thicker gravy. 

Top with cilantro.
